1.1 Return Policy (Food & Perishable Items)
Due to the perishable nature, hygiene standards, and food safety regulations governing traditional pickles, The Rajasthani Pantry strictly does not accept returns or exchanges once a food item has been delivered. We cannot accept returned food items back into our inventory to ensure the health and safety of all our customers.
1.2 Order Cancellations
- Before Shipment: You may cancel your order free of cost within 2 hours of placing it. To cancel, please email us immediately or use the cancel option in your account dashboard. If the order has not been packed or handed over to the courier, we will process a 100% refund.
- After Shipment: Once an order is handed over to our courier partner and a tracking ID is generated, the order cannot be cancelled, recalled, or refunded under any circumstances.
1.3 Eligible Scenarios for Refunds or Replacements
While we do not accept returns, we will happily issue a free replacement or a full refund under the following exceptional circumstances:
- Damaged on Arrival: The pickle jar arrived broken, cracked, or leaking significantly at the time of delivery.
- Wrong Product Received: You received a different variant or size than what you ordered (e.g., you ordered Garlic Pickle but received Mango Pickle).
- Expired Product: In the highly unlikely event that the product delivered has crossed its “Best Before” date at the time of delivery.
1.4 How to Claim a Refund or Replacement
To report an issue with your order, you must contact our customer support team within 24 hours of delivery.
- Step 1: Send an email to support@therajasthanipantry.com with the subject line: “Refund/Replacement Claim – Order ID [Your Order Number]”.
- Step 2: Attach a clear unboxing video or high-resolution photos displaying the damage, wrong item, or expiry date.
- Step 3: Our quality team will review your claim within 48 hours. If approved, you can choose between a brand-new replacement shipped for free, or a full refund to your original payment method.
1.5 Refund Timeline
If a refund is approved, it will be automatically credited back to your original payment method (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Wallet) within 5 to 7 business days, depending entirely on your bank or payment gateway provider’s internal policies.
